Two men magically swap circumstances and a guardian angel is banished to Earth. Gabriel is an angel who acts as a guide for the downtrodden of the Earth. One of those downtrodden, overworked, rock-bottom folks is a man doing odd jobs for his wealthy friend Jeff in the Hollywood hills. In an effort to show the man that wealth and status will not gain him happiness, he magically has him swap circumstances with Jeff. When the swap doesn’t prove his hypothesis, Gabriel is punished to live among the mortals.
