Two sisters embrace their witchcraft ancestry in comedy starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman . Gillian and Sally Owens are part of a family of witches living with a curse, whereby any person they fall in love with is doomed to die. While they have tried to avoid magic for most of their lives, the death of Gillian’s cruel boyfriend compels them to examine and learn the magic they possess.
