Ο ιατροδικαστικός ψυχίατρος δρ Τζόελ 'Λαζ' Λάζαρους αναγκάζεται να έρθει αντιμέτωπος με παλιούς δαίμονες όταν ο πατέρας του, ο δρ Λ, πεθαίνει υπό ύποπτες συνθήκες.
