Widow's Bay

After they mayor revives tourism on a remote New England island, strange happenings begin to occur again. On the small island town of Widow’s Bay off the coast of New England, the inhabitants live a quiet but downtrodden existence. When the timid yet determined Mayor Loftis decides he’s going to change all of that, he sets about attracting tourism—while dismissing the superstitious older folks. But when the tourists finally start arriving, the old stories from the past begin to resurface.
