Un viaje para sobrevivir a la Navidad. Tras la muerte de su madre en diciembre, Elsa se refugia en el trabajo para no enfrentarse al duelo. Cuando un ataque de pánico la obliga a parar, decide viajar a Lanzarote con su amiga Patricia. Su historia se entrelaza con la de un guionista y un director de cine, en un relato donde la vida y la ficción se reflejan dolorosamente.
