Beth and Rip open a ranch in Texas, but find themselves in conflict with a powerful local ranch owner. After their old ranch in Montana is destroyed in a wildfire, Beth Dutton and her husband Rip relocate to Texas, where they open a cattle ranch. But little do they know, they’re treading on the powerful Beulah Jackson’s turf, sparking off a conflict that makes Beth and Rip’s entrance into the community far more difficult than they’d imagined.
