The Sandlot

A new kid in town tries out for the local baseball team but will need a summer of training first. When Scotty Smalls arrives in a new town, he sets his sights on the sandlot where the local baseball team plays every day. Despite not being naturally gifted, Scotty spends the summer learning from Benny Rodriguez, who takes a shine to him and lets him join the baseball gang. As he slowly improves and wins over the acceptance of the team, Scotty and his new friends find themselves on a series of unlikely adventures.
