The Odyssey

Odysseus, the King of Ithaca, tries to return home only to be waylaid by the cruelty of fate. With the travails of the Trojan War now over, Odysseus yearns to return home to Ithaca and be reunited with his wife and son. But his homecoming is delayed by a lengthy adventure set before him by the gods to test his resolve. He faces a series of challenges that range from trials of skill, endurance, discipline, and strength while his family faces growing unrest as the people of Ithaca lose faith in his return.
