Minor criminals looking for a quick payday accidentally commit the largest gold heist in living memory. In London in the 1980s, a hapless group of small-time crooks accidentally find themselves involved in a huge heist. Through a series of mistakes and misjudgments, they become embroiled in one of the largest gold robberies in history. But once they have the gold, they have to work out what to do with it while the authorities are hot on their tail.
