A Netflix western drama based on the Jodi Thomas books of the same name. Staten Kirkland owns the Double K Ranch in the town of Ransom Canyon in Texas. He is joined by Cap, who owns and operates the Fuller Ranch, and Davis Collins, owner of the Bar W Ranch. These three families find their whole way of life under threat from outsiders looking to capitalize on the land. Between their fight for survival, personal drama unfolds in this small town where legacy, loyalty and love are the defining principles.
