Mystic River

Three childhood friends are brought back together in the wake of the murder of one of their daughters. In a tight-knit Irish-American neighbourhood in Boston, three childhood friends are brought back into each other’s orbit by the murder of one of their daughters. Jimmy Marcus has since become a powerful local mob boss, while Sean is now a homicide detective, and Dave a struggling blue collar worker. When Jimmy’s daughter is murdered, he sets out on a rage-filled mission to find the killer and exact revenge. With Dave the last person to see her alive, and Sean running the official investigation, all three men find themselves at opposing ends of the spectrum of justice.
