The story of a young man suffering with Tourette's syndrome. John Davidson is a young man growing up in the 1980s in a rough area of the Scottish Borders. He begins to develop unusual tics and has uncontrollable outbursts that he can’t explain, leading him to receive severe punishment as a teenager. But when he is diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome, he finally finds a way to explain what has been happening to him.
