Arrival

A language professor tries to communicate with a mysterious alien force arriving from space. The world is shocked when twelve extraterrestrial structures land at different locations across the globe. Linguistic expert Louise Banks arrives in Montana, where one of the mysterious spacecraft awaits, and begins her work. It is her job to try and understand the intentions of these alien creatures, and the only way to do that is to begin communication and develop a shared language.
